OUR SCHOOL
Welcome to Blossom Home Childcare, a CA state-licensed home-based daycare dedicated to providing a safe and loving environment for your little ones. We care for infants ages 8 weeks to 2.5 years old. We understand that the early years are crucial for development, and our mission is to provide a space where infants can thrive, explore, and develop at their own pace.
After 10 years in the childcare industry, the owner and teacher, Sarah, launched Blossom Home Childcare. Blossom Home is nestled in the neighborhood of Palms, offering a calm and qualified childcare environment.
As a family-centered daycare, we focus on individualized care, ensuring each child has a schedule that works at home and at daycare, and receives the attention and affection they deserve. With a low caregiver-to-infant ratio of 1:4, we create a cozy atmosphere that feels just like home. We are proud to incorporate Montessori and Reggio Emilia principles into our care approach. We prioritize open communication with families, keeping you involved every step of the way. We can’t wait to welcome your family into ours!
MEET THE OWNER
Hi, I'm Sarah! I am the owner and teacher of Blossom Home Childcare in Los Angeles! I have 10 years of experience in childcare, and have worked in a variety of settings. For three years I was a co-teacher in a Reggio Emilia-based daycare for infants, giving me the privilege of working closely with children during this crucial stage of development. Seven years spent as nanny and household manager also gave me a deep understanding of nurturing children from various backgrounds and learning styles. This allows me to bring a flexible, supportive approach to my daycare.
In 2024, I decided to open my home-based daycare because I love the small group and one-on-one connections that create a close-knit, caring community. I believe every child deserves to feel valued and supported, and I’m excited to create an environment where they can thrive. Blossom Home Childcare is a licensed CA state facility, and I’m fully trained in CPR, AED, and First Aid. I’m Trustline certified, with state and federal background clearance, ensuring safety is always my top priority.
Building strong relationships with families is essential for a child's development, and I am committed to promoting open communication and collaboration with parents. By working together, we can establish a partnership that provides each child with the love and support they need to flourish.
